Freehold

Freehold is a hand-loomed broadloom carpet constructed from 100% wool, designed to provide durability, natural texture, and consistent performance in residential interiors. Wool is a highly resilient fiber known for its strength, insulating properties, and ability to retain its appearance over time. This natural composition supports a comfortable underfoot feel while maintaining structural integrity in spaces with regular household activity.

The hand-loomed construction creates a dense and structured surface that highlights the organic character of wool fibers. This method allows for subtle variation within the weave, producing a refined texture that adds depth without relying on bold patterns. The result is a clean, balanced flooring surface that works well in a variety of residential settings, including contemporary, transitional, and traditional interiors.

Freehold features a cotton backing that provides flexibility while maintaining stability during installation. Cotton backing supports the natural movement of the wool fibers while helping the carpet maintain its shape and alignment across larger floor areas. This backing system contributes to long-term durability and reliable installation performance.

The carpet surface presents a matte, low-luster finish that emphasizes the natural texture of wool. This finish complements materials such as wood flooring, stone accents, and neutral furnishings, creating a cohesive and grounded interior environment.

As a broadloom carpet sold by the square yard, Freehold allows for seamless wall-to-wall installation in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and home offices. Professional installation methods typically include stretch-in installation with padding or glue-down applications depending on subfloor conditions and project requirements. Freehold can also be fabricated into custom area rugs or stair runners, offering flexibility for a range of residential flooring applications.
