Established in 1996, Old World Stone Imports also known as O.W.S.I. Flooring and Design have been owned and operated by the Berry and Hill families’ spanning multiple generations. Originally one of Utah’s top and leading Travertine Stone Distributors during its boom in the 1990’s, OWSI is dedicated to ever expanding and growing remaining a leading distributor of current cutting edge styles and designs.

Whether you’re working on a Remodel or a New Construction Project, all of our In-Store Interior Designers are ready to help you design the perfect style and look for your home. We help with anything from backsplashes to entire home compositions. The Designers pull inspiration from your personality and style preferences and match it with our wide selection of materials and layouts found in the design center.
Installers On-Call
At Old World Stone Imports we have a long standing and loyal group of highly experienced sub-contractors who are able to install your tile, carpet, hardwood, laminate, LVP, counters and sinks. We only work with the best and can help minimize the kinds of headaches that tend to come with subcontractor work.
House Builders and Designers LOVE US!
We have worked with hundreds of House builders and designers throughout Utah and across the country who repeatedly refer their homeowners to our design center. Along with being one of Utah’s largest full-service flooring and complete design centers, they love the fact that we streamline the design and selection process, set up materials calculations, and work out scheduling issues that come up. Thus, allowing them to deal with just 1 company rather than juggling multiple subcontractors and companies.

With our constant stock of over $1,000,000.00 worth of Inventory spanning across all product types, many of our materials are available in stock and are ready for pick up at our store in Orem, Utah. Special Order Items are often able to come in within 3-14 days allowing for literally tens of thousands of different products to choose from.

MANAGING DIRECTOR, DESIGN LEAD and OWNER – Skyler Berry
Skyler Berry, a second generation OWSI Member, owns, manages and operates the company and is the Lead Designer and designs around 10-20 homes each month. He has had his hands full of travertine and marble since he was young. His clients find his personality, level of skill, and knowledge of materials and design unrivaled. We are also proud to announce his Coverings First Place nationally ranked award in 2020 for Residential Tile Design.
Skyler’s wife, Jessica, a local Equity realtor, helps him wrangle their four young children and pets. They enjoy spending time as a family and traveling to Cancun, Mexico and Disneyland. In his spare time, Skyler also runs another successful company, building high end homes throughout Utah Valley and Park City. He has found his calling in this industry and looks forward to helping you on your project soon!
JOINT OWNERS & FOUNDERS – Steve & Genia Berry
Steve and Genia Berry started Old World Stone Imports selling travertine from a small storage unit during the travertine boom of the 1990’s and 2000’s. Steve saw a need and filled it. Genia helped with inventory and business management while Steve and his business partner, Dave Hill, expanded the operation to include what is now a 4000 square feet Design Center supplying products to thousands of homes throughout the United States.
Genia and Steve enjoy spending time on the weekend garage selling, horse races, hosting camp outs, barbeques, and fishing trips for their grand kids.
BOOKEEPER – Eileen Fackrell
Eileen has always had a good mind for budget and finance. She had taken various accounting classes when she was younger but took a different career path. Her “big break” came in 2004 when her brother-in-law, knowing her money smarts, approached her to be his bookkeeper for his wholesale granite company. Having accepted his offer she took off on this fun and changeling path of bookkeeping. Eileen loves natural stone. It’s about bringing Gods creations indoors. Because of this love it’s been a perfect partnership with Old World Stone Imports since 2018.
DESIGN & SYSTEMS MANAGER – Yeca de Guia
An Interior Designer by profession, Yeca thrives on creating holistic, aesthetic, and safe solutions to diverse design problems. She supports Skyler in numerous operations, including project and design management, website and platform management, documentation, graphics, SOPs, marketing, recruitment, research, systems, and technical troubleshooting. Yeca’s dexterity, honed through years of construction and interior design projects, sales and marketing, arts, and crafts, has directly contributed to her proficiency in design, digital work, operations, and various team dynamics. Unapologetically quirky and creative, Yeca is always pushing the boundaries of her resourcefulness and takes joy in making things work. A proud cat furmom, she also habitually tries to befriend every cat she encounters.Â
SALES DESIGNER – Martin Hansen
Martin is a family man first, and an up-and-coming businessman second. He has spent years dedicated to the craft of customer satisfaction and loyalty, with a background in men’s formalwear fashion. He has an eye for both traditional, European, and contemporary design, and enjoys the process of turning his clients’ visions into reality. His priority is positivity, and his free time is spent with his young family. Whether He’s at work, outdoors, traveling the world, or building hot rods, he’s always driven by a love for precision, quality, and meaningful connections.
SALES DESIGNER – Melia Thompson
Melia enjoys a variety of art forms, including painting, sewing, and designing clothes, and loves bringing creativity into everything she does. She also has a deep love for the outdoors, especially paddleboarding and hiking. Friends and family hold a special place in her life, and she values nurturing and growing those relationships.
SALES DESIGNER – Celeste Herring
Celeste brings a creative, practical eye shaped by a background in construction, project coordination, consulting, and a lifelong love of learning how things are made. Her hobbies range from writing and music to sewing, building things, traditional crafts, and restoring old tools and machines. Her design style leans warm, timeless, and collected, with a love for natural stone, wood, texture, vintage details, and old world influences. She especially enjoys creating spaces that feel beautiful, personal, and comfortable to live in.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATOR – Rochell Banta
With a solid background in virtual assistance and operations, she keeps teams running smoothly by managing administrative systems, coordinating with clients, tracking tasks, and overseeing daily workflows. Known for her creativity and attention to detail, Rochell enjoys designing thoughtful gifts, building streamlined processes, and bringing order to complexity. Outside of work, you’ll often find her lost in a good book, soaking up nature, or relaxing by the ocean. Dependable, intuitive, and quietly effective, Rochell excels in roles where she can lighten the load and create calm from the clutter.
WAREHOUSE OFFICER – Lance Snyder
Lance has over 30 years of experience as a delivery driver and warehouse experience and is very detailed and customer oriented. He always wants to make sure the customer is taken care of and has always been willing to go out of his way to help customers the best he can. Lance enjoys watching and playing sports and spending time with his family.
PROJECT ESTIMATOR – Clarence Padunan
Clarence is a detail-oriented and licensed Civil Engineer with a solid foundation in construction principles, cost estimation, and project coordination. Passionate about contributing technical expertise as a Project Estimator, he supports teams with accurate quantity take-offs, bid preparation, and material pricing analysis tailored to the flooring and design industry. Outside of engineering, he is a passionate portrait artist and also loves to play basketball.
PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – Christine Ejusa
With architectural experience, skills and motivation to learn, Christine applies and shares her knowledge as she takes on the roles of estimates and purchasing. Being mindful that exercising patience, paying attention to detail as well as communicating clearly and effectively are crucial for the roles, she takes on the challenges and make sure to achieve optimum and satisfactory result. This also applies in her personal life as she tackles on her very energetic toddler who always keeps her on her toes and makes her life more riveting and purposeful.
ACCOUNTING OFFICER – Anna Lou Cadeliña
Anna is an accounting professional supporting day-to-day accounting operations including AP, reconciliations and financial records. A simple and dependable person who enjoys learning new things. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to music, playing volleyball and working out.
SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST – Reniel Osias
Reniel thrives on building brands through visuals and storytelling. He gets energized by clean layouts, warm wood tones, and content that feels alive; textured, soulful, and memorable. He loves crafting reels, designing content, and shaping a brand’s voice and look so it sticks in people’s minds. Offline, he’s drawn to interiors, furniture, travel vibes, and anything that sparks creativity. Always learning, experimenting, and creating, he believes true growth comes from doing, not just planning.
SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST – Shanta Estrella
Shanta is a social media specialist and seasoned business owner with a passion for helping others and continuously learning. She has an eye for premium, clean design styles and loves bringing ideas to life with a refined touch. Outside of work, you’ll often find her experimenting in the kitchen, blending creativity and flavor.
DATA ADMINISTRATORÂ – Sherrie Brizuela
Sherrie helps us with updating data files, keeping in touch with our suppliers for updates and monitors our leads. She also loves decorating her home depending on the season’s theme. Sherrie bonds with her beloved family by watching movies and traveling together with them.
DATA ADMINISTRATOR – Nilo Wong Jr.
Nilo is a graphic artist with a vast experience in assisting different e-commerce platforms who processes data and images for our website. He mainly adds and updates thousands of products for our company and cleans product images for better presentation. He is an anime enthusiast, gamer, traveler, hiker and a roller skater in his free time. A pet lover with 2 cats and a dog.
