California Gold – Square 2″ Tumbled

California Gold – Square 2″ Tumbled is a natural slate tile known for its warm, earthy color blend and softly weathered surface. This material features a mix of golden browns, rustic copper tones, charcoal greys, and soft green highlights, creating a surface with natural movement and organic variation. Each tile carries its own mineral shifts, giving installations a handcrafted and richly textured appearance.

Made from durable natural slate, this product is designed for both interior and exterior use. The tumbled finish softens the edges and enhances the stone’s naturally aged character, offering a slightly roughened texture that feels authentic and tactile. This finish also provides natural slip resistance, making the tile suitable for areas with moisture exposure or frequent foot traffic.

The square mosaic format makes it ideal for detailed applications such as shower floors, accent walls, niche insets, backsplashes, fireplace accents, and decorative borders. Its smaller pattern layout allows it to conform to curves and transitions, making it especially useful for complex design areas. Indoors, the warm color palette brings depth to kitchens, bathrooms, and entry spaces. Outdoors, it performs well in changing weather conditions while maintaining its natural appeal.

When sealed, the slate’s layered tones become more defined, enriching the overall texture and enhancing the color contrast. Its organic variation and tumbled edges pair well with rustic, transitional, and nature-inspired styles.

California Gold – Square 2″ Tumbled offers a durable slate material, a versatile mosaic tile format, and a distinctive aged finish—perfect for adding warmth, detail, and long-lasting performance to any space.
