Antalya is a vein-cut travertine quarried in Turkey, characterized by its linear movement and stratified appearance. The stone is cut parallel to its natural bedding plane, which reveals horizontal banding across the surface. This directional veining provides a consistent flow, making it suitable for installations that emphasize linear design. Color variation is inherent, ranging from beige to light cream, with subtle mineral inclusions and natural voids typical of travertine.
Available in finishes such as honed and filled, Antalya balances surface smoothness with the visual depth of natural stone. The filled finish reduces the appearance of natural holes while preserving the stone’s pattern and texture. It is suitable for residential interior applications, including floors, walls, backsplashes, and bathroom surfaces. As a natural material, each tile will vary slightly in tone, veining, and texture, contributing to an organic, non-uniform surface.
Routine sealing is recommended to protect against staining and moisture absorption, particularly in wet or high-use areas.
