Arhus 8″ x 36″

The Arhus Collection is a glazed ceramic wall tile series characterized by subtle surface undulation and a hand-formed appearance. Each tile exhibits minor variation in texture and edge profile, replicating the irregularities of traditional artisanal ceramics. The finish is glossy, creating a reflective surface that enhances tonal variation and interacts with light to produce depth across installed surfaces.

Intended for vertical applications, Arhus is suitable for interior walls including backsplashes, shower surrounds, fireplace facings, and accent walls. The ceramic body is non-porous and lightweight, facilitating installation in both residential and commercial environments. Due to the surface sheen and ceramic composition, the series is not recommended for flooring.

Each tile is produced with dimensional consistency, allowing for standard grout spacing and clean alignment. Variation in glaze thickness and application contributes to minor differences in tone and reflectivity across pieces, emphasizing the collection’s handcrafted visual intent. Maintenance requirements are minimal, with standard pH-neutral cleaning products sufficient for routine care.

Arhus is suitable for installations that prioritize surface texture, material simplicity, and visual depth. Its reflective finish and irregular surface geometry offer a contemporary take on traditional wall tile formats while maintaining technical performance and aesthetic restraint.
