Base Molding Crema Marfil

The Base Molding Crema Marfil is a natural stone trim piece fabricated from marble and designed for use at floor-to-wall transitions. Cut and finished to a consistent profile, this base molding provides a functional and aesthetic termination point, offering protection at the junction of horizontal and vertical surfaces while maintaining a continuous material expression. The honed surface finish provides a soft sheen and smooth texture, consistent with standard interior trim applications.

This molding is commonly installed in residential and commercial interiors where stone flooring is used, including bathrooms, hallways, and public reception areas. The piece is calibrated for integration with marble tile installations, allowing for material consistency and dimensional alignment along perimeter edges. As a natural stone product, Crema Marfil base molding will display inherent variations in veining, tone, and mineral content, contributing to a non-uniform visual surface that is typical of quarried stone.

Sealing is recommended to reduce porosity and protect against staining in moisture-prone areas. Maintenance involves regular cleaning using pH-neutral, non-acidic products compatible with marble surfaces. Installation follows standard stone setting practices, with appropriate adhesives and grout used to ensure long-term bond strength and edge protection.

This trim component supports finish continuity in spaces requiring stone base transitions with architectural precision.
