Colony

Colony is a hand-loomed broadloom carpet constructed from 100% undyed wool, offering a natural flooring solution designed for durability, texture, and understated residential design. Wool is widely recognized for its resilience, softness, and insulating properties, making it a reliable material for interior spaces that require both comfort and long-term performance. Because the wool fibers remain undyed, the carpet preserves the authentic character of the natural fiber, creating subtle tonal variation and organic visual depth across the surface.

The hand-loomed construction produces a dense and structured weave that highlights the natural texture of wool fibers. This method allows the carpet to maintain a consistent yet slightly varied appearance, enhancing the natural aesthetic without relying on heavy patterns or artificial finishes. The cloud-toned palette provides a soft neutral base that complements a wide range of interior environments, including contemporary, minimalist, and transitional residential spaces.

Colony features a cotton backing designed to provide stability and structural support while maintaining flexibility within the carpet. Cotton backing helps the carpet retain its shape during installation and supports long-term durability while allowing the wool surface to maintain its natural movement and texture.

The finished surface presents a matte, softly textured appearance that emphasizes the organic qualities of undyed wool. This finish pairs well with natural materials such as hardwood flooring, stone accents, and neutral furnishings, contributing to a balanced and refined interior environment.

As a broadloom carpet sold by the square yard, Colony allows for seamless wall-to-wall installation across living rooms, bedrooms, and other residential spaces. Professional installation methods typically include stretch-in installation with carpet padding or glue-down applications depending on project requirements. Colony can also be fabricated into custom area rugs or stair runners for additional design flexibility.
