Coventry Cord

Coventry Cord is a hand-loomed broadloom carpet designed to introduce structured texture and natural fiber performance into residential interiors. Crafted from a balanced blend of wool and Tencel fibers, this carpet combines the durability and resilience of wool with the smooth surface and subtle sheen provided by Tencel. The result is a refined flooring surface that offers both visual depth and reliable performance in everyday living spaces.

The hand-loomed construction creates a distinctive corduroy-inspired ribbed texture across the carpet surface. This linear design adds dimensional character while maintaining a clean and organized appearance throughout the floor. The repeating pattern creates subtle movement and structure that enhances the visual appeal of the carpet without dominating surrounding interior elements. This textured surface works well in spaces that benefit from understated pattern and refined material detail.

The wool component contributes natural strength, insulation, and long-term resilience, helping the carpet maintain its shape and appearance under residential use. Tencel fibers add softness and a slight reflective quality that enhances the carpet’s finish while maintaining a smooth, refined surface texture.

Coventry Cord features an action back backing system that provides stability and structural support during installation. This backing helps maintain the alignment of the carpet while improving installation reliability across larger residential floor areas.

Designed as a broadloom carpet and sold by the square yard, Coventry Cord is suitable for seamless wall-to-wall installations in living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways. Professional installation methods typically include stretch-in installation with padding or glue-down applications depending on project requirements. Coventry Cord can also be fabricated into custom area rugs or stair runners for additional residential design flexibility.
