Gatehouse

Gatehouse is a hand-loomed broadloom carpet constructed from 100% wool, designed to deliver durability, natural texture, and consistent performance in residential interiors. Wool is recognized for its resilience, insulating properties, and ability to maintain its structure under regular use, making it a reliable flooring material for spaces that require both comfort and long-term performance. The vanilla bean color palette introduces a warm, neutral tone that integrates easily with a range of interior styles, including contemporary, transitional, and classic residential settings.

The hand-loomed construction creates a dense and structured surface that highlights the organic character of wool fibers. This technique allows for subtle variation within the weave, producing a refined texture that adds visual depth without relying on bold patterns. The result is a clean and balanced flooring surface that enhances interior spaces while maintaining a natural, understated appearance.

Gatehouse features a dual backing system composed of cotton and action back materials. The cotton backing supports flexibility and preserves the natural movement of the wool surface, while the action back provides added stability and reinforcement during installation. This combination helps maintain the carpet’s shape and alignment across larger floor areas while supporting long-term durability.

The carpet surface presents a matte, low-luster finish that emphasizes the natural qualities of wool. This finish pairs well with wood flooring, stone surfaces, and neutral furnishings, contributing to a cohesive and grounded interior design.

As a broadloom carpet sold by the square yard, Gatehouse supports seamless wall-to-wall installation in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and home offices. Professional installation methods typically include stretch-in installation with padding or glue-down applications depending on subfloor conditions and project requirements. Gatehouse can also be fabricated into custom area rugs or stair runners for added flexibility.
