Gobi Rug 9′ x 12′

Gobi Rug is a hand-loomed rug designed for residential indoor applications, featuring a Berber-inspired texture that delivers a structured yet subtle surface appearance. Constructed from 100% wool, this rug provides natural durability, insulation, and long-term performance. Wool fibers offer inherent resilience, helping the rug maintain its form while delivering a comfortable and slightly cushioned feel underfoot.

The hand-loomed construction enhances the Berber texture, creating a consistent looped surface with a tight 1/2 inch width pattern repeat. This fine-scale texture adds dimension without heavy visual contrast, allowing the Gobi Rug to integrate into modern, transitional, and rustic interiors. The natural wool composition contributes to a matte finish, supporting a more organic and grounded design aesthetic. A cotton canvas backing reinforces the structure, improving stability and helping the rug maintain its shape over time.

The finish is low profile with a dense, looped texture that supports easy placement under furniture and within layered layouts. Its width and proportions make it suitable for defining smaller living areas, bedrooms, or secondary spaces while maintaining a cohesive look. The Berber texture provides subtle visual interest while remaining adaptable across various interior styles.

Installation is simple using a loose lay method. A rug pad is recommended to improve comfort, reduce shifting, and extend the lifespan of the rug. Gobi Rug offers a combination of natural wool construction, textured performance, and reliable structure for residential interiors.
