Mare Nostrum Hex 7″ x 8″

The Mare Nostrum collection draws influence from the weathered textures and natural irregularities of coastal stone surfaces. Subtle veining, mineral deposits, and fine-grain patterning combine to evoke the erosion and sedimentation of shoreline formations, offering a surface that feels both organic and restrained. The design prioritizes continuity and balance, with just enough variation to maintain depth without overwhelming the surrounding architecture.

Finished in a soft matte, the surface diffuses light evenly and enhances the natural texture, making it well-suited for both residential and commercial applications. The format supports installation on floors and walls, including high-traffic zones and moisture-prone areas where durability and slip resistance are required.

Mare Nostrum integrates easily with a wide spectrum of interior finishes—wood, plaster, concrete, and metal—adapting to both minimalist and transitional palettes. Its geological reference is expressed through controlled surface movement and a neutral, mineral-inspired tonal structure, offering long-term flexibility across various design typologies.

With a focus on material authenticity and subtle performance aesthetics, the collection supports spatial compositions that rely on texture, proportion, and quiet visual rhythm. Mare Nostrum provides a grounded, low-maintenance surface solution informed by natural processes and refined for modern environments.
