Otavi

Otavi is a woven broadloom carpet crafted from natural sisal fiber, designed for residential interiors that prioritize organic texture and structured surface performance. The woven construction highlights the inherent characteristics of sisal, creating a defined, linear texture that adds depth and a natural aesthetic to the floor.

Made from 100% sisal, this carpet offers a firm, durable surface suited for areas with consistent foot traffic. Sisal is known for its strength and low stretch properties, allowing the carpet to maintain its structure over time. Its natural composition also contributes to a dry, matte finish that complements a range of interior styles, particularly spaces focused on minimal or organic design.

The backing is supported by a natural latex system, which reinforces the woven structure while maintaining flexibility for installation. This backing helps stabilize the fibers and supports the overall integrity of the carpet under regular use.

With a full-width format of 13 feet 2 inches, Otavi allows for efficient wall-to-wall installation with fewer seams, resulting in a more continuous and uniform appearance. The finish emphasizes a coarse, textured surface that provides visual interest while helping to conceal minor debris and everyday wear.

Installation methods include glue-down application, which is commonly recommended for sisal to ensure proper adhesion and minimize movement. Otavi combines natural fiber construction, woven durability, and a structured finish, making it a practical flooring option for residential spaces that require both texture and performance.
