Renaissance Broken and Tumbled

Renaissance Broken and Tumbled is a natural stone tile defined by irregular shapes, softened edges, and a timeworn surface that evokes the look of reclaimed architectural fragments. Each piece is uniquely broken and hand-tumbled, creating a mosaic-like arrangement that feels both organic and intentional. The variation in form and surface texture adds a sense of history and craftsmanship, ideal for spaces where material authenticity takes precedence.

The color palette leans into soft creams, warm beiges, and subtle mineral undertones that shift gently across the layout. The tumbled finish rounds off sharp edges and gives the stone a chalky, matte texture, enhancing its antique feel while maintaining a soft, natural touch. This finish also highlights the surface irregularities, lending depth and visual movement without the use of pattern.

Renaissance Broken and Tumbled is best suited for vertical installations—fireplace surrounds, bathroom walls, kitchen backsplashes, and feature walls—where its irregular form and tonal variation can be fully appreciated. The fragmented layout introduces rhythm and texture without rigid alignment, making it especially effective in rustic, Mediterranean, or old-world inspired interiors.

Each installation becomes a custom composition, shaped by the randomness of each stone and the interplay of color and shadow. Renaissance Broken and Tumbled adds warmth and character through natural imperfection, offering a surface that feels aged, grounded, and architecturally rich.
