Special Coverage

Special Coverage is a commercial carpet tile designed for heavy traffic environments where durability, texture, and consistent performance are essential. The surface features a textured loop construction that enhances visual depth while helping to reduce the appearance of dirt, footprints, and wear patterns in high-use spaces such as offices, healthcare facilities, and educational interiors.

Constructed using EnviroStrand™ SD PET polyester fiber, this carpet tile provides dependable stain resistance and long-term color retention. The solution dyed fiber supports fade resistance and maintains visual consistency even with frequent cleaning and exposure to light. Its tufted construction creates a stable, uniform surface designed to withstand continuous foot traffic without compromising structural integrity.

The UltraSet Matrix (UZ) backing system improves dimensional stability and installation performance. It helps minimize tile movement, reduces edge curl, and supports strong adhesion to the subfloor. This backing contributes to long-term durability and ensures the flooring maintains its alignment in demanding commercial settings.

Designed in a modular format, Special Coverage allows for flexible installation methods including monolithic, ashlar, and quarter-turn layouts. These installation options provide versatility in design, enabling both uniform and patterned floor applications depending on the project requirements.

The low-profile textured loop finish supports efficient maintenance and routine cleaning while maintaining a professional appearance. Individual tiles can be replaced as needed, reducing long-term maintenance costs. Special Coverage is a practical flooring solution for commercial interiors requiring reliable performance, resilient materials, and adaptable design functionality.
