Volakas Honed 12″ x 24″

Volakas Marble is a natural stone quarried in the Volakas region of Greece, known for its crisp white background and distinctive, flowing gray veining. This marble features a fine to medium-grain structure, providing a refined, elegant appearance that is widely used in both classical and contemporary architecture. Its bright tone and striking veining create a high-contrast surface that adds visual interest to interior spaces.

Available in polished and honed finishes, it offers versatility in both texture and light interaction. The polished finish enhances the stone’s natural gloss, emphasizing the intricate veining and adding a reflective quality that brightens interior settings. The honed finish provides a softer, matte texture that reduces glare while preserving the stone’s natural variation.

Common applications include interior flooring, wall cladding, countertops, shower surrounds, and fireplace surrounds. Due to its natural porosity, regular sealing is recommended to protect against moisture, staining, and etching, particularly in high-traffic or wet areas. Each piece of Volakas Marble exhibits unique veining and subtle color variations, adding to the natural character of each installation.

Volakas Marble is suitable for projects that require a refined, timeless surface with a distinctive, natural aesthetic.
