Imagine closing your eyes and envisioning some of the most breathtaking architectural marvels the world has to offer. Where does your mind take you? Chances are, you’re strolling through the enchanting streets of Europe. The enduring allure of European architecture, with its timeless style and design, has stood unwavering through the ages, captivating hearts then and now. And it was precisely this timeless inspiration that set the stage for our quest to infuse a Bright and Classic European style into our latest project.
To bring forth an authentic European flair, we knew that the foundation had to be rooted in the embrace of Natural Stone and kindred materials. Our journey commenced in the Butler’s Pantry, where the Midnight Luxe Black Marble and Arista White Marble joined hands in an elegant Diamond Checkerboard Pattern, a salute to enduring beauty. The Powder Bath, on the other hand, donned a vintage cloak with the Arista White Octagon and Dots adorning the floor, while the stately 3×6 Arista White Brick set Marble stood tall as wainscoting, a timeless testament to elegance.
Stepping through the front door, the entryway held the promise of a grand introduction. A modern reimagining of the classic Midnight Luxe Black and Cristali White Marble Checkerboard was meticulously crafted, each tile masterfully cut in half, interwoven with the subtle grace of gold loxtrim metal border. The labor of precision unfolded into a magnificent declaration, a testament that hard work births true opulence.
In the realm of the Primary Bedroom and Bath, luxury assumed a new definition. The floor danced with the grace of 12×12 Arista White Marble, a mesmerizing rhythm punctuated by a custom cut 3×15 Cristali Picket Tile. A 4” Cristali Marble, adorned with a delicate gold Loxtrim border, added the final brushstroke to this masterpiece.
Here, the herringbone layout emerged as a hallmark of sophistication, a nod to tradition with a modern twist. And the master shower? It was a canvas painted from floor to ceiling with the exquisite 3×6 Cristali Marble, a space where elegance and utility coexisted in perfect harmony. The brilliance of Cristali Marble lay not just in its beauty, but in its spectrum of white variations, from warm to grey to bright white – a versatile backdrop that marries effortlessly with any color scheme.
Laundry, a chore no one quite adores, demanded a touch of whimsy and uniqueness. Inspired by the allure of bold patterned tiles, the 8×8 Atlas Cement Tile entered the scene. But it didn’t stop there – the cement tiles danced with Aged Brass Pattern inlays, an enchanting union that elevated functionality into an art form.
In the labyrinth of function and style, one often fears the chaos. Yet, in our pursuit, order and elegance triumphed.
The Upstairs bathrooms were a canvas of harmony, a symphony of Mixtures of Cement Tiles, Marble, and Hand-Crafted Porcelain tiles. Each tile, each design choice, a stroke of brilliance that culminated in the perfect tapestry, a testament to design mastery.
As we reflect on this journey, the fusion of classic European elegance with modern aesthetics, we are reminded that architecture is not just about structures – it’s about weaving narratives, creating timeless artistry, and letting every corner whisper tales of splendor and grace. This Mountain Modern Boho home isn’t just a place; it’s a chapter in the grand story of design, a celebration of the artistry that bridges time and space.
